Goldman Sachs spent $39.5 million on U.S.-booked air travel, with business
travel levels at the company higher than in 2022.
Goldman Sachs reported that business travel accounted for
79,915 metric tons of carbon emissions in 2023, 90 percent of which came from
commercial air travel. That is an increase from 61,517 metric tons in 2022.
Net revenue at Goldman Sachs totaled $46.25 billion in 2023,
a decline of 2 percent compared with 2022. The company reported 45,300 total
employees as of the end of 2023, a decline of 6.6 percent compared with a year
prior.
