2023 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $80 million
Consolidated Global TMC: FCM
Honeywell’s top travel management
priorities in 2023 were to identify cost reduction
opportunities, define New Distribution Capability strategy and improve the
hotel program. Last year’s BTN CT100 reported that Honeywell’s consolidated
TMC in the U.S. was FCM. This year, the company has stated the relationship is globally
consolidated.
Employees returned to office post-pandemic in 2023, when they also
resumed pre-pandemic levels of travel. The industrial conglomerate expects its U.S.-booked
air volume to stay level at $80 million in 2024.
As of the end for December 2023, Honeywell had 95,000 employees in 79
countries, of whom 33,000 were based in the U.S. Net sales rose from $35.4
billion 2022 to $36.6 billion.
At the beginning of 2024, Honeywell restructured into four business
segments: aerospace technologies, industrial automation, building automation,
and energy and sustainability solutions. A $5 billion deal to acquire security
technology business Global Access Solutions from Florida-based Carrier
completed in June 2024. Global Access Solutions had 1,200 employees in 33
countries.

estimate of Honeywell's 2023 U.S.-booked air spend was $70 million, which did not reflect an update received prior to publication. BTN apologizes for the oversight.
