2023 U.S.-Booked Air Volume: $30 million 

Luxury brand powerhouse LVMH had approximately $30 million in 2023 U.S.-booked air volume, according to a BTN estimate. 

The Paris-based company reported 2023 revenue of €86.2 billion (US$95.3 billion), a 13 percent increase year over year. About 25 percent of revenue was attributed to the United States. 

LVMH had nearly 213,300 employees as of Dec. 31, 2023, up from the 196,000 reported in 2022. About 71 percent of the LVMH workforce is women. 

The company reported that Scope 3 emissions, which include business travel, account for 96 percent of its total carbon footprint. In 2023, it had more than 7.1 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions, with business travel and commuting accounting for 5 percent of that total.
