For its first full year as a single company following the
merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, Warner Bros. Discovery spent $37 million
on U.S.-booked air for business travel, according to BTN estimates. The company
reported 31,481 metric tons of carbon emissions related to business travel in
2023.
The media and entertainment conglomerate reported $41.3
billion in revenues in 2023, a decline of 4 percent in a pro forma comparison
to the combined companies in 2022.
Warner Bros. Discovery had 35,300 employees as of 2023, a
decline of 5.9 percent year over year. The company has been downsizing since
the close of the April 2022 merger, as a part of an ongoing restructuring.
