Payment and expense management provider Center has launched a new dashboard tool within its travel and expense solution that combines on- and off-platform booking data, the company announced.
The Insights for Travel dashboard pulls complete data from companies' spending and lets finance and travel managers view them by booking type—such as airfare, hotel and ground transportation—and see breakdowns on spending based on categories like client or project, according to Center. Dashboards within Insights include views of departmental spending, booking behavior, vendor negotiations and policy compliance.
The tool was developed "to support our customers' need for a unified view of all travel data, including off-platform bookings," Naveen Singh, CEO and co-founder of the midmarket-focused Center said in a statement. "By unlocking holistic visibility into all spend, we're enabling businesses to make more informed decisions, optimize travel spending and ensure compliance with T&E policies."
Center launched its integrated travel and expense offering, built on Spotnana infrastructure, about a year ago, and since then the company reports "strong year-over-year adoption," with its overall customer base up 50 percent.
Additionally, Center on Tuesday announced the launch of a new "Smart Receipts" tool. The tool attaches IRS-compliant digital receipts with complete transaction data to expenses, preventing the need for users to manually attach receipts.
