India-based travel and expense platform Itilite has added a credit card authorization capability to ease the hotel payment process for clients using central payment methods, the company announced.
Itilite, which has been building a presence among U.S. clients over the past few years, said hotels requiring authorization has been a sticking point for companies paying with a central company card, as delay or denial of authorization can prevent travelers from being able to check in. Some companies use third-party vendors for the process, but Itilite's new authorization capability enables clients to do it from the same platform as booking, the company said.
As another solution, Itilite enables centralized payments via cards for clients, who can issue virtual cards to employees when they travel, according to the company.
